the video either does not start or will not play
This usually means that you do not have the latest version of the QuickTime player. Other symptoms of an older player may be: only a white screen with no audio, a white or a black screen with audio, there is no sound or screen, only the controls are displayed. If experience any of this, simply install the latest version of the free QuickTime player. If the screen just displays the QuickTime logo and does not seem to play, your system is trying to download the complete file, not progressively and it may take some time to start playing.

the video seems to be jumping while it is playing
Please set your QuickTime player to safe mode. See question number 5.

the video does not seem to be playing properly even with the most recent version of quicktime
This means that your firewall is interfering with the QuickTime player. You would need to disable it, or modify it's settings. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause, but many firewalls can be very restrictive.

there is a strong purple tint to the video
In very rare instances a video may appear as if it's washed in purple hues. This is a problem that occurs in individual players and some QuickTime users experience it and others never do. We recommend re-starting your computer and if the problem still occurs, we recommend that you re-install QuickTime.
